The 53d WG team won the base championship this year in a match against defending champs the Air Force Research Lab team at Wind Swept Dunes in Freeport, Fla. The match was tied after 18 holes, but the 53d WG took the win on the first hole of sudden death. The team was unbeaten during the regular season and in the playoffs.
