Members of the 53d Test Management Group's Detachment 1 came together in Kabul, Afghanistan this month. Each were serving separate tours, but came together for a reunion of sorts. Det 1 located at Barksdale Air Force Base, La., handles test management for all B-52 testing accomplished in the 53d Wing. The detachment currently has only five people assigned to it. Left to right: Maj. Ron "Wheels" Wheeler, 53 TMG Det 1 commander; Capt Mary "MJ" Hill, Det 1 test engineer and Maj. Nate “Plate” Dawn who will PCS to Det 1 after his remote assignment to Afghanistan.
