Checking the bomber

An aircrew member from the 23rd Bomb Squadron performs flight checks of the B-52 at Minot Air Force Base, N.D., the morning of the Weapon System Evaluation Program mission. After the checks are complete, the aircraft is launched for an approximately five hour mission to the Utah Test and Training Range and back.
