Falcon wings

An F-16 Fighting Falcon from the Illinois National Guard waits for its next Combat Archer mission Oct. 16 at Tyndall Air Force Base, Fla. The 83rd Fighter Weapons Squadron hosted the guard unit for Combat Archer Oct. 15-18. The exercise experienced some delays due to rough weather during the week. Combat Archer is a weapons system evaluation that analyzes personnel and equipment to determine the effectiveness of the Air Force’s frontline air-to-air combat capability.
