Col. Ken Wilsbach, 53d Wing commander, and retired Army First Sgt. Tom Rice, salute as the names of 35 fallen veterans from Eglin Air Force Base are called out during the placement of a wreath at the Beal Memorial Cemetery Veterans Day ceremony in Fort Walton Beach, Fla. Nov. 12. Colonel Wilsbach spoke about reflecting on the foresight, courage and sacrifices of past leaders and heroes and to remember the courage and sacrifices of today’s men and women in the military to a crowd of nearly 300. The ceremony was concluded with a 21-gun salute, playing of taps by the Eglin Honor Guard and an F-16 missing man formation fly-over by the 85th Test and Evaluation Squadron.
