Memorial Day is a day to remember all the men and women who have paid the ultimate price to defend the freedoms that make the United States of America the greatest nation in the world.

It is a time for us to reconnect with our nation's and our Air Force's history and values by honoring and celebrating the Airmen, Soldiers, Sailors, Marines and Coast Guardsmen who have given everything to preserve our way of life. Our country owes them a debt of gratitude that can never be repaid.

Our military men and women have defended America throughout our history and we continue to do so today ... with courage, honor, discipline and commitment.

Remember those who came before us, who they were, what they fought for, the values they represent and the legacy they have left for us.

Wherever you are on Monday, May 28th at 3 p.m. please pause for the Memorial Day National Moment of Remembrance as our country celebrates "One Nation, One Moment". This Moment provides a time to reflect on America's fallen and renew our dedication in their memory.
