Number of years in the military: 18 How does it feel to be a new squadron CC? To be an Air Force squadron commander has truly been a life-long dream of mine. I am humbled and honored to accept the privilege. What are your goals/agenda during your time as commander? I have no agenda. My only goal is to continue the great mission of the 59 TES which is to make this great Air Force even better. I hope to do that by taking care of our people first, and focusing on the mission always. What is one particular life lesson you've gained from your time in the military? It is important to serve something greater than yourself. What type of hobbies/activities do you have outside of work? I am very much into health and fitness, an avid water and snow skier, hiker, and enjoy traveling. If there was one thing about military life you would change what would it be? Winston Churchill said "Democracy is the worst form of government except all the others that have been tried." I suppose the same can be said for military life. It is not perfect and will never be, but I cannot imagine my life any other way.
