RAAF participates in Exercise Lightning Spear 2021

A Royal Australian Air Force F-35A Lightning II sits on the flightline between sorties during Exercise Lightning Spear, a live-fire missile event supported by the 53rd Wing, on Nov. 23, 2021, at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla. This is the second year that No 77 Squadron participated in EX LSP where they were evaluated on all aspects of logistics, maintenance, and operations in support of AIM-120D Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missile combat capability for their F-35s.
